UK ICO MAKES BUSINESS CASE FOR SPENDING ON DATA PROTECTION

The UK Information Commissioner has published “The Privacy Dividend” report to help companies see the bottom line value of investing in proper data protection. 
 
Besides encouraging organizations to invest in better data protection, the report specifically lists “inadequate secure disposal” among the top area that companies overlook when making such investments.
