ANTHONY TANTI TO ASSUME CHAIR OF NAID-AUSTRALASIA COMMITTEE
Anthony Tanti, owner of The Secure Document Destruction Company in Lidcombe, NSW, will take the reins of the NAID-Australasia Committee on 12 August 2010 during the NAID-Australasia Conference. Mr. Tanti’s firm has supported NAID for many years and his firm is also the first in Australia to achieve NAID Certification.
According to NAID CEO Bob Johnson, “Tony is in an excellent position to understand the operational and sales challenges members meet on a daily basis. When someone is running a small, fast growing business, they live and breathe every part of it, and they are very sensitive to the fact that all investments, including in the industry’s trade association must have a return on investment.”
Mr. Tanti’s predecessor, the current committee chair, Van Karas of Shred-X Document Destruction in Yatala, QLD, will also have a new NAID assignment. The NAID Board of Directors has approved a succession plan wherein after two years of service the committee chair will then serve on the global NAID Board of Directors for two years in a director’s position that has been created specifically for the NAID-Australasia region.
