SWISS-BASED KATANA LATEST EU FIRM TO BECOME NAID CERTIFIED
On 2 June 2010, Geneva-based KATANA SA became the first NAID Member in Switzerland to achieve NAID AAA Certification. KANATA is a Founding Member of NAID-Europe and Yarom Ophir, one of the firm’s partners, has been very active on the NAID-Europe Committee since its inception.
There are now 9 NAID AAA Certified locations in Europe and 16 NAID AAA Certified locations outside North America.
In the United States, where NAID AAA Certification is quickly becoming a market requirement, the number of NAID AAA Certified locations will soon exceed 800.
NAID expects NAID AAA Certification to become a global standard as the forces shaping the North American marketplace, such as data breach notification and vendor auditing requirements, will soon be enacted in all developed nations.
