2011 NAID CONFERENCE CELEBRATES ENTREPRENEURIAL HEROES – MOVES TO NEW VENUE
An article in the latest Harvard Business Review describes how, at the end of the day, independent entrepreneurs are the real saviors – the real heroes - of every economy. This idea is something the 2010 NAID Conference Planning Committee was already aware of, and was why they had chosen to celebrate the heroism of the entrepreneur as the theme of next year’s big event.
New Venue/New Date: Unfortunately, due to floods affecting the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee, conference planners had to act quickly to find a new location. The good news is that they have, and it will give them a great opportunity to integrate the theme with the location. The new site is Loews Royal Pacific, which as the name suggests, is located adjacent to the Universal Studios Amusement Park (and its roster of Marvel Super Heroes).
The date of the event is March 18-20, 2011, which means that for the first time the event will run Friday to Sunday.
